Majestic Sun

This series is inspired by Monet, the master of colour and light. It captures the interactions between light and colour in summer.

Summer sunsets are magnificent and dramatic. Fiery reds and burnt oranges engulf the sky as though dusk was a passionate lover burning with desire and lust.

At dusk, the passionate sky bleeds on to Westminster and reflects pools of golden light across the bridge. Anonymous figures move across the bridge but overcasted with a deep brown shadow adding drama and depth to the painting.
